Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from Kampala or Entebbe followed by a briefing from your safari guide.

Start the scenic drive westwards through beautiful countryside landscapes, tea plantations, and local villages. Along the way, make a stop at the Equator crossing for photography and refreshments.

Proceed toward Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the late afternoon.

Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short evening game drive before checking into your lodge.

Morning Game Drive – Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Wake up early for breakfast before heading for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the park.

The early morning hours provide excellent opportunities to spot predators and grazing wildlife across the open savannah.

Wake up early for breakfast and head for chimpanzee tracking in either Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest Reserve.

Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, trek through tropical forest trails in search of chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

During the trek, you may also spot:

After the chimp tracking experience, begin the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en route.
